30th Reunion Weekend - Recap
1. How many people showed up?
Good question. Some attended the “Happy Reunion Hour” at Malarkey’s, but didn't attend the Reunion Dinner or Tigers game, and vice versa. Not counting the people that attended all three events 3X, we had close to 120 people, total. The Reunion Dinner itself had around 80. Malarkey’s had around 70 and we had a group of 40 at the Tigers game.
2. Was it fun, did I miss out?
What...do you really think I'm going to say that it sucked? Of course not. Seriously, it was awesome, and you did miss out. The next will even be better.
3. Am I a loser for not showing up?
(No, you are not a loser, but we're going to pretend that you are so that you show up next time.) Yes, unfortunately you are a loser.
4. Who organized the reunion?
Lee Anne Meyers, Rhonda (Elledge) Peterson, Rob MacGregor, Kelly (Tow) Solak) and Penni Blohm.
5. I didn't attend the Reunion Weekend. Can I still order a Memory Book?

6. Was there a surplus after expenses where paid, and what happens to that money?
There was a surplus of $400 bucks or so. The money will be put into a savings account to draw interest, and will be used at the 35th or 40th Reunion. It’s too early to tell if we’ll have a reunion in 5 years. I can only speak from personal experience, but I haven’t recovered from the 30th reunion, yet.
7. Can I join the Reunion Committee?
YES!!! We’re up to 10 members now. It’s a good group of people and it gives you an excuse to keep in touch with your “old” classmates. Also, please welcome Rhonda (Elledge) Peterson as the new chairman of the Reunion Committee. She has great ideas, organizational abilities and I'm confident she's going to do a great job.
On a personal note, I want to thank you for the many thank you notes and calls I have received over the past week. I have been very touched by it all. You're the best!
